The KIRCHHOFF Group has its roots in the enterprise founded by Stephan Witte in 1785 for the manufacture of needles and pins in Iserlohn, Germany. Today’s KIRCHHOFF Group, owned by the Kirchhoff family for four generations, consists of four divisions: KIRCHHOFF Automotive, KIRCHHOFF Ecotec, KIRCHHOFF Mobility and WITTE Tools. WITTE Tools continues to be rated as one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of premium handtools. The traditional WITTE brand name is a byword for high-grade series of screwdrivers, pliers and cutters, bits and sets of bits that are supplied worldwide to partners in industry and the trades and specialist distributors.
KIRCHHOFF Ecotecis the European market leader for waste collection vehicles, street sweepers, and lifters. This division was the first manufacturer to produce a fully integrated hybrid waste collection vehicle.
